This training will focus on the recommendations for family violence programs from the Senate Bill 434 Task force on the Intersections of Domestic Violence, Child Maltreatment and Child Exposure to Domestic Violence. It will explore how TCFV can support efforts already occurring in your region and how TCFV can assist in developing potential new efforts around building resiliency and connection between survivors of family violence and their children, through strengthening advocacy for survivors of family violence and their children within the CPS system and through avenues for working with perpetrators of family violence who are parents. The training will highlight TCFV’s Texas Children’s Justice Act grant and will also highlight statewide and national resources and models.
