Region 9 Membership Meeting (North Central Texas)
Join us as we bring together constituents from Region 9 for our annual membership meeting. This annual meeting is a time for us to network and spend the day increasing our skills as TCFV provides a full date of training on vital issues. We will provide an interactive workshop on the following:
Engaging Immigrant Survivors and Communities
Working with immigrant survivors and their communities is critical to ensuring equitable services. This training provides participants an opportunity to develop a cohesive community understanding and approach to working with immigrant survivors and communities. The training will also invite dialogue around community reflections and diversity amongst immigrant communities while building knowledge and acquiring resources. Participants in this training will explore strategies for community engagement through policy, prevention and outreach, offender accountability, and survivor advocacy approaches. This training will be facilitated using group and interactive methods and is intended to be a cross program audience encouraging participation of organizational staff at all levels.
