Engaging Immigrant Survivors and Communities
Working with immigrant survivors and their communities is critical to ensuring equitable services. This training provides participants an opportunity to develop a cohesive community understanding and approach to working with immigrant survivors and communities. The training will also invite dialogue around community reflections and diversity amongst immigrant communities while building knowledge and acquiring resources. Participants in this training will explore strategies for community engagement through policy, prevention and outreach, offender accountability, and survivor advocacy approaches.
